The Home Bakers 17 Essence of Orange Chocolate Wafer Cake


在一个巧合之下。。。 我看到了 The Home Bakers(THB), 然后就找上了 Joyce (Joy Joy) 她的部落格是 Kitchen Flavours.
她说如果要参加 The Home Bakers 的活动, 我就要有这本书, ” Coffee Cakes by Lou Seibert Pappas"  那时我就立刻去订了这本书。  想想那时才 11 月 2012 年。

Coincidentally, i met Joyce, the owner of Kitchen Flavours and organizer of  The Home Bakers.  She told me that i should have a book call Coffee Cakes by Lou Seibert Pappas if i want to join the activity.  I ordered the book in November 2012 and received it in 6th January 2013, by the time i got the book i was very busy, so i didn't manage to join any activity of THB

This is my first activity  at THB.

One of the reason i wish to join The Home Bakers is because of their logo, so attractive, i like it very much and for the second reason I wish i can learn more from you all here.

Really thanks and appreciated to Joy Joy too.

All the ingredients.
Golden Raisins and Orange
Getting ready to blend
Pureed to the thick paste..  Done
Golden rasins and orange paste

 I mix in the Nestle Brand Semi-sweet chocolate
 Ready to bake
Done !!
 Made some cupcakes

 It a very moist and yummy cake and love it so much !!

12-11-2013 蜂蜜南瓜土司 -Pumpkin Honey Toast

好久没做面包吃了。。 这是才败回来的新玩意。。 就做了这蜂蜜南瓜土司。 

你们来看我的土司模。。。

网笼土司模

 Carol 老师的食谱
 550g 的面团
 

 
切片了。。 圆圆的。。 看了很开心哦 ! 第一次就可以满模 !

食谱来自Carol 老师的烘焙新手第二本书,第 284 页。

蜂蜜南瓜吐司(直接法)

份量:
12 两带盖吐司模 (20cm X 10cm X 10cm)
(我放了550 克面团去我这网笼吐司模。)

材料
A. 面团
南瓜泥         150克
高筋面粉      280克
速发干酵母  1/2 tsp
鸡蛋              1个(约50克)
蜂蜜              20克
盐                  1/8tsp
无盐奶油      30克
牛奶              30cc

B.表面装饰
南瓜籽80克

做法:一般面包做法

Pumpkin Honey Toast
Im using this bread mould to made this toast.  550g Dough to the mould

Ingredients
(A) 
Steamed Pumpkin----------150g
High Protein Flour---------- 280g
Instant Yeast---------------  1/2 tsp
Egg----------------------- 1 ( around 50g)
Honey-------------------- 20g
Salt----------------------- 1/8 tsp   
Unsalted Butter----------- 30g
Milk---------------------- 30cc  

Topping
Sunflower Seed------------80g

Method 
As a normal bread, I'm using Bread maker

(18-5-2013 )My Lovely Mum's Birthday - 妈妈的生日 13-7-2012

18th May 2013 just posted out the post.

13-7-2012 年这大好天是我敬爱的妈妈生日。 我们三姐弟妹, 一家大小为妈妈庆生。
妈妈生日之前就开始预备她的生日蛋糕。 为了妈妈的蛋糕, 我第一次尝试学做翻糖玫瑰花。 第一次打奶油。。幸好都成功。。。 开心哦。。。

13-7-2012  Was my lovely mother's big day.  I decided to make a fondant cake with 9 roses specially for her.  It was my very first experience in making this cake and fortunately, it was a success !  It really made my day and hopefully hers too. 
Let's see my white and purple roses...

我用了四个晚上做的玫瑰花。。。 做了不美, 又再做。。。 直到我满意为止。。
做了很多哦。。可是只用了九朵。。。
I spent 4 continuous evenings making fondant roses for my mother's cake but in the end I only needed 9 for the cake..


蛋糕是前一晚做的 "巧克力牛油蛋糕" 。。。妈妈生日当天, 我一早就开工了。。。当我放上一大片翻糖时的心情多怕。。 
At the same time, I was getting Chocolate Butter Cake for the base to go with those pretty fondant roses.
Yeah !! Here we Go ...

My mum loves the steamboat at " Lau Yang Shi Fang Chai Restaurant " so three of us siblings agreed to celebrate her birthday there.

And of course it was a pleasant evening and she was overjoyed.
